The students of Darshan Academy School, Kalka, participated in the 19th Inter-City, 28th Open State Taekwondo Championship, which was organized at Guru Nanak V.B.T Polytechnic College, Mohali. The event was an excellent opportunity for the students to exhibit their exemplary taekwondo skills and the comprehensive training they had undergone under the guidance of the school coach, Ms. Kavita. Experienced referees officiated the matches. After a tough series of fighting bouts, Rajveer, Naitik, Shruti, Lavanya and Arnav Sharma won Gold medals. Avneet, Atharav, Aayush and Pranav won Silver medals. Arnav, Nikhil and Disha won Bronze medals. The team proudly held their respective medals and expressed their continued commitment to the sport. The Principal, Mr. Nikhil Khurana, applauded the students for their commendable effort and wished them luck in their future endeavours.
